Security preparations in Delhi

As Delhi gears up to host this prestigious event, security has been significantly bolstered across the national capital. A multi-layered security apparatus, including police, paramilitary forces, and other agencies, is working tirelessly to ensure the safety of all attendees. Measures include markswomen and armed forces deployed strategically, enhanced patrolling, and rigorous checks in border areas.

Delhi Police, supported by over 50,000 security personnel, K9 dog squads, and mounted police, is leaving no stone unturned. From safeguarding delegates' journeys, from the airport to hotels and summit venues, to ensuring their security during the summit itself, the Delhi Police is providing foolproof protection. Notably, the Indian Air Force (IAF) and specialized central agencies like the National Security Guard (NSG) are assisting in this effort, further fortifying security arrangements.
